New Human Bean Location Opens in Lake Havasu AZ

Another new Human Bean location proves that coffee consumption continues to grow.  But this is not the black drip coffee of the past! One third of the population drinks a gourmet coffee or espresso beverage each day.  And drive-thru options only continue to grow in popularity due to our fast paced and on-the-go lifestyles. Although in a hurry, consumers are not willing to sacrifice quality for convenience.  This makes The Human Bean’s award winning Farm-Friendly Direct coffee and high quality products the perfect combination.

Headquartered in Oregon, The Human Bean has opened six new Human Bean locations in the past six months in five different states.  These states include Missouri, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado & Arizona. The latest of which was the third location to open in the Lake Havasu area November, 14th. This new Human Bean location brought the total Human Bean count to 64.new human bean location

Brian & Juls Baumkirchner, owners of all three Havasu locations, said they came into the role of Human Bean Franchisee when they took over the first location at 633 North Lake Havasu Avenue in 2007. The Baumkirchners saw the potential for this location to be the bustling coffee drive-thru destination that it is today. Their other two locations are on South McCulloch and now North Palo Verde on Highway 95. Between the three locations they are able to provide employment for 30 employees plus 1 handyman, 1 machine maintenance person and 1 bookkeeper.

Choosing a new Human Bean Location

Brain Baumkirchner said they chose this new Human Bean¬†location because many of their customers had constantly asked for it. ‚ÄúThe North side of town doesn‚Äôt have very many business establishments for the residents and tourists alike. Additionally this location has higher traffic when compared to the two other locations.‚Ä̬† Couple that with the fact that it has a double drive through and ample vehicle cueing; it is designed to provide the very best customer experience.
The Baumkirchners also have letters of intent for additional locations signed in nearby cities.

Baumkirchner credits this growth to the brand supporting their franchisees and says, ‚ÄúThe Human Bean Team has become like a family for us.‚ÄĚ Human Bean co-founder, Dan Hawkins, states ‚ÄúBrian and Juls are phenomenal operators and it is a joy to get to work with them. They have a passion for creating the very best customer experience and the results are really something special!‚ÄĚ

Baumkirchner sums it up nicely when he says, ‚ÄúIt‚Äôs amazing to be a part of a quality brand and system that grew to 3 stores with proper management. Like I always tell people, ‚ÄėIf the coffee wasn‚Äôt superior and service was sub-par, we wouldn‚Äôt exist!‚Äô‚ÄĚ

The kind of growth Baumkirchner has experienced speaks for the brand as a whole.  The Human Bean shows no signs of slowing down on growth.  The company plans to open at least 19 more franchise locations by the end of 2017 throughout the US.  This would bring  the total to 82.new human bean location

Human Bean Sponsorship of Concerts in the Park

It may have been 106¬į, but The Human Bean Sponsorship¬†brought The Breeze to Concerts in the Park in Southern Oregon.

The Human Bean sponsorship of¬†Jackson County’s weekly concert series called Concerts in the Park is going through the summer.¬† This concert series is¬†coordinated by Medford Parks & Recreation and is held at the new Medford Commons outdoor space.¬†Last¬†week,¬†they pushed their Human Bean sponsorship even further by providing free iced tea to those attending the concert.¬†They featured¬†their sweet summertime iced tea called The Breeze.¬† Human Bean¬†baristas served overheated concert enthusiasts refreshing green iced tea sweetened with a splash of lemonade and raspberry.

Everyone who tried The Breeze had nothing but great things to say.  The community event  was a huge success overall. The Human Bean takes pride in the active role they play within the community.  They look forward to supporting similar events in the near future.

We have many other delicious and refreshing drinks like this to offer on our Human Bean menu.  With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Treasure Valley Human Bean Gives Back

For the third year in a row, Treasure Valley Human Bean locations raised funds and awareness.¬† They did so for a local and worthy children’s cause¬†called the¬†Jayden DeLuca Foundation!

treasure valley human beanThe Cause

The Jayden DeLuca Foundation was established in 2008 in honor of Jayden Riley DeLuca.  Jayden passed away due to a cardiac condition when she was 2 1/2 years old. Her parents, Jeremy and Karalie Deluca, believe that Jayden made such a positive impact on the world.  The believe it is only fitting that The Jayden DeLuca Foundation do the same in her honor.

The foundation looks to promote awareness of cardiac diseases and also to aide in further scientific and medical research of pediatric heart conditions. They feel there needs to be more research and more time devoted to helping those who face this problem.

Sadly, the necessary technology that could have saved Jayden DeLuca didn’t exist when she needed it. Their hope is that soon, pediatric cardiac conditions will be completely manageable.  Or will be a thing of the past altogether.

On Friday, June 26th, all 5 Human Bean locations in the Treasure Valley Human Bean region donated 30% of their daily SALES (not just proceeds).  The Jayden DeLuca Foundation was the recipient of this donation. The donations raised by this event will provide support and technological progress in the development of pediatric heart conditions. Thank you to all who supported Jayden DeLuca Foundation by generously donating or purchasing a tasty beverage on June 26th. With your support, The Treasure Valley Human Bean raised $3,100 for the Jayden DeLuca Foundation.

Human Bean Tennis Sponsorship Supports Community

A recent Human Bean tennis sponsorship of the 19th annual Tennis Championships was held at the Rogue Valley Swim and Tennis Club.  The tournament was on June 12-14, 2015. The Tennis Championships is a community fundraising event dedicated to supporting children in the community of Jackson County.

In fact, ALL profits raised from this event were donated to a local non-profit, Parks & Recreation Foundation. This worthy foundation supports enrichment programs for youth and adults.  Additionally it aids in the development of community projects and parks. The money raised from the Tennis Championships will be specifically given as sports scholarships to local children.  These children would otherwise be unable to participate in these programs.
